Dear Grant Administrator:

Please find the enclosed application and proposal summary for review by the trustees. We hope that your company will partner with us in providing funding and support for our pantry feeding program for the low-income individuals in society. Our primary strategy is to develop a sustainable feeding and nutritional program in the community. With the onset of Covid-19, several people are distressed and need various support, including food, to boost their resilience to the shocks and stressors. Our primary focus is on creating an all-inclusive pantry food package to maximize low-income people satisfaction. “NO FOOD, NO LIFE”.

We are requesting $325,908 for support, which will help relieve the high cost of our proposed operations. Above and beyond, the prospective pool of financial aid is vital for the success of our pantry feeding program. The organization has a solid and experienced leadership team that will help the prudent management of the resources realize an estimated success rate of 95%. The administration will be held accountable in case of any misappropriation of the grant. Therefore, we are confident that the funds will be channeled to the intended use based on our budget narrative as an organization.

This cover letter includes the organization’s proposal summary, letter of introduction, organizational budget, and completed application, as required in your guidelines. Thank you for taking the time to consider this grant request. We will be happy to respond to any questions you may have. Feel free please to contact us at (786) 440-4092/336-473-7492 or email: [email protected]/

Figure 1: The project roadmap

The proposed project will determine whether the objectives are being met; we will formally evaluate our proposal to facilitate funding. The evaluation helps to assess the Project’s success strategically:        A. Process Evaluation The mobilization of the target population in the community will help the implementation team make informed decisions on the program’s progress. The team will also use the number of participants and their economic improvement as a matrix to indicate successful project implementation.        B. Outcome Evaluation The primary interest is to use the evaluation plans to clarify our program’s purpose, goals, and objectives and describe how our activities are linked to their intended effects. To this end, the stakeholders will be involved, and we will have developed a logic model. The logic model will visually depict how our operationalization will be expected to work and achieve its goals, specifying the program’s inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes. The outcomes will be determined by how logistics and deliveries are done and the quality.        C. Success Matrix We will measure success by the following:
  1. The number of people receiving the pantry foods.
  2. The level of satisfaction of the population benefitting from the program,
  3. The success stories of the beneficiaries in terms of access to the Project.
       D. Feedback The project founder will use qualitative and quantitative data to determine the population’s specific needs and evaluate outcomes. The founder will use project measures to set a target date to complete the Project. A simple review platform will be used to measure the reviews and compliments of the beneficiaries.

Milestones

The table below shows a timeline of the business implementation plan:
Activity Descriptions
Project approval The Senior Manager will be in charge of all approvals; it serves as a green light for the project team to begin their work.
Requirements review We need to closely go over the project plan with the Project’s beneficiaries and determine what the Project will need. As soon as we get all this approved, we begin working on the Project.
Design approval We’ve now finalized all the project requirements. However, it’s now time to draw up the project design and present it to the beneficiaries or stakeholders.
Project phase milestones Our Project is now on the way, and our team is working to implement the designed solution: this is not an easy feat, even for those with top-notch project management skills!
D. Final approval Our team has finished building the Project, and after rigorous testing and inspection, we are finally ready. If the project meets the requirements, our stakeholders will give their seal of approval.

Dissemination

The Project will ensure the visibility of results and outcomes and the program’s valuable contribution and support to the target audience. Visibility, media presence, and public information sharing related to project activities and achievements will be ensured regularly by the project implementation team: I) press events related to formal ceremonies or highlight project results, II) website posts; III) social media posts; IV) display boards on investment site stating the donor’s contribution to the project results; V) photo and video stories. We will have a backend dashboard built for Limelight to measure and monitor the results of the users. It will have multiple data points to make more informed decisions on moving forward or innovating. This dashboard will also be a platform for FAQs, user feedback, and an opportunity for our organization to see how it is performing.
